Vb net updating xml file

I am trying to source for tutorials on this with little luck.

We used to save our application or user settings in an INI file (dark ages) or more recently in XML files using our own code or classes borrowed from other developers. NET framework using Visual Studio can take advantage of built-in tools to simplify or speed up access and saving of runtime values. C# code uses a slightly different syntax the concepts are similar.

Well the reason is because they do get out of sync.

And to remedy that problem, Microsoft provided a scoped values.

Select data tables from connected database and click Finish button. Run a while loop having condition as Sql Data Reader.

Create an object of Ole DBData Reader in case of database like Oracle or MS-Access and Sql Data Reader in case of MS-SQL database.

You might think these value are saved back to the app.config file or the .config files mentioned previously but unfortunately no as that would be too easy. For example, my file was created at the following location: C:\Users\don\App Data\Local\Microsoft\Email Sender Net.vshost.exe_Url_layp1zjs3efmh3nnxgs3wj0if0kd3vz0

If different users login and use your application, each user can maintain their own separate and unique values making them perfect for user specific preferences. scoped values will be saved in a completely new user.config file.

scoped values you have set back to the Settings object will be automatically saved.

They are really just default values that your application can access at runtime if needed.

The app.config is used directly by VS 2008 and updated when you edit the values in the VS project properties settings pane.

Connecting and communication applications with a database is a necessary part of any type of application. NET framework that allows us to retrieve, insert, update or delete data from a database. NET contains the following important parts: It is used to retrieve data from database and update Data Set. Create an object of Ole DBData Adapter class in case ofa database like Oracle or MS-Access and create an object of Sql Data Adapter class in case of an MS-SQL database.

We may even say an application that does not communicate witha database is useless. In case of inserting, updating or deleting data, it automatically updates database while Data Set is updated. Synchronize Often If you been able get this far without falling asleep, you have probably pondered the concept that with so many files holding the same data that things could get out of sync.

But mostly I worked with decent guys who were just happily being themselves. Looking back, I didn’t always make it easy for my colleagues to feel comfortable around me.

I don't have time to go through all of the new arrivals, but a few of them are worth discussing.
