La Barbera was born in Mount Kisco, New York on July 7, 1936 to the late George and Elsie Harrison Lounsbury. Burial will follow at Northside Cemetery, Belhaven, NC.
She was a 1954 graduate of Bedford Hills High School in New York. She was the daughter of Glenda Collins Lacy and the late Johnny Lacy Sr. Leo Stephen Lahocki, Sr, age 76, a resident of Blounts Creek, NC died Saturday December 3, 2016 at Vidant Beaufort Hospital.
He attended NC State University where he played on the 1974 National Championship Team.
He transferred to Miami University of Ohio where he played basketball and graduated with a degree in accounting.

She is survived by her daughter: Ann Lackland Taylor of Washington and her grandson: Aubrey B. In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by her son-in-law: Aubrey B. Kathleen Adams La Coanet, 81, of the 3500 block of Terry Court, died March 6, 1992, in a hospital. He is preceded in death by his wife Trish Lahocki, mother Evelyn R.
She was the daughter of Charles Fredrick Branton and Minnie Woolard Branton. On July 5, 1947, she married Sam Boushall Lackland who preceded her in death on January 17, 2002. Lackland was a homemaker and worked for several years in admissions at Beaufort County Hospital. Lahocki, Father Stephen Lahocki, and three brothers, Joe Lahocki, Charles Lahocki and George Lahocki.

On January 6, 1979, he married Kathy Jo Hohlmayer who survives.
